Future NowFuture Now was founded in the spring of 2001 by Chris and Terri Musgrove. A vision was dropped into Chris's heart after doing an outreach program for local schools in his community in 1991. He was overwhelmed with the response of students and families who came out for a night event where 400 people responded to the altar invitation. After that night, Chris took hold of a vision that would come into existence in April of 2001. Chris and Terri have worked with students for over 26 years and have realized that drugs, alcohol, and premarital sex, gangs and violence are not the problem, they are symptoms that stem from the real problem. No vision, goals or purpose! _

Baby Luv ProgramBaby LUV (Lowndes Unique Victories) was created in 2008 as an intervention to reduce Infant Mortality rates within the Lowndes County community with the help of a grant from the Georgia Chapter of March of Dimes. With the success of Baby LUV, the program is now funded by the Department of Public Health’s Maternal Child Health Department, and by Healthcare Georgia Foundation. The mission of the Baby LUV program is to prevent premature births and infant deaths by providing education and intensive home case management to high risk African American pregnant women. Women and infants that are participants of the program will be linked to local programs such as WIC, Children First, Immunizations, and other community resources.

A responding tweet included B. Mack as part of the blog. From there a Twitter conversation began. When one of the women suggested that we meet in person to discuss the blog, we knew this was the beginning of something great._
